the save the dates that started it all

Our Save the Dates went out back in late October and they really set the tone for the whole wedding. We created a "travel folder" for all of our guests because most of them have never been to Greenville before. We used the lace design from Todd's mother's handkerchief and had Kelly Moore take a picture of the hanky before we sent it off to the printer.

The handkerchief design totally covers the folder for the Save the Date and borders the envelope.

When you open the folder, there are four cards that read 1) Wedding Weekend Events, 2) From Erin and Todd, 3) lodging, 4) our favorite things to do in Greenville

A close up of the lace design that we've since used on all of the wedding paper. I've got a little bit on my thank you notes, the letter pressed invitations have the design on it, and the design will be the cover on the ceremony programs. We're also creating drink recipes for our signature drink and posting them on a piece of cardstock with the lace design on it.

Also a close up of the pink "erin & todd" that we've used in multiple locations throughout the wedding planning process.

What are some other ways to incorporate the design into the big day?
