That's right! The Gamecocks should be in the top 10 for the first time since 2001 next week after beating #8 Kentucky last night in a heck of a game. Despite the torential down pour (that we've been praying for since June) occuring on the Thursday when we have our only Thursday night game that was originally supposed to be played on a Saturday, the Gamecocks came through and beat the Wildcats 38 - 23. Todd's team hosted a tailgate for all of their employees, new employees, and hopeful future employees before the game and they got a great showing for such a rainy afternoon.
It's been a great season thus far and I'm hopeful that even greater Gamecock highlights are to come. Here's a picture of Todd and me just before the bottom fell out of the sky and before the beautiful double rainbow showed up. The roosters have given us a lot of reasons to smile in 2007!
